A Little About Me

MARIA, MSc (Forensic Sci.), MSc (Crim.), CPDT-KA

My Background: My very first job was working at a general practice vet clinic as a teenager. I worked there for about 5 years as an assistant, until I went to university. I then worked in the Oncology department of an Emergency Veterinary Hospital. I was a Peace Officer, investigating cases of animal abuse and neglect, a Peace Officer between different Forensic psychiatric hospitals and prisons for a couple of years, until I moved out to a small mountain town to work as a Peace Officer.

I completed my Masters in Forensic Science, a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. And am currently working on my Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour, which will qualify me as an Animal Behaviourist.

My Mini Panther and I are also founded Search and Rescue Dog Association of Canada (SARDAC).

Now, I get to work with fabulous people and amazing dogs.
