A Little About Me
MARIA, MSc (Clinical Animal Behaviour), MSc (Forensic Sci.), MSc (Crim.), CPDT-KA
My Background: My very first job was working at a general practice vet clinic as a teenager. I worked there for about 5 years as an assistant, until I went to university. I then worked in the Oncology department of an Emergency Veterinary Hospital. I was a Peace Officer, investigating cases of animal abuse and neglect, a Peace Officer between different Forensic psychiatric hospitals and prisons for a couple of years, until I moved out to a small mountain town to work as a Peace Officer.
I completed my Masters in Forensic Science, a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
I recently graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour.
My Mini Panther and I also founded Search and Rescue Dog Association of Canada (SARDAC).
Now, I get to work with fabulous people and amazing dogs.
